After looking at her highlight and stats, I would say it is extremely unlikely that she ever makes the big leagues. That being said, I'm wishing her the best of luck. A women playing in the MLB would be huge for the sport.

She's a groundball hitter and from the videos I'm watching she isn't fast enough for infield hits. She's a solid defensive player though. Good fielding and throwing form. Honestly that's probably the only thing holding this whole thing together - on defense she absolutely looks like she belongs.
If anything at all, she would get a shot a 2B but I don't even see that happening.

The point isn't that there are others with that potential, it's that she doesn't have it either.

She's also 16. If she's got the natural talent and 5 years of good coaching who's to say she can't do it? Can you see 5 years ahead and say that there will be absolutely no open ss slots? Maybe that slot isn't even where she'll end up.
