Anybody have suggestions for places to fish for like without a boat? A co worker suggested the Nancy lakes area and adfg says Anderson or memory lakes but I don't have a boat and they all seem to have privately owned shorelines. I'm fairly new here so I'm not super familiar with the area but I can follow a map pretty good if y'all can point me in the right direction.

I'm fairly new to offroading and was hoping for some advice. I had my 98 ranger out last weekend and on my way down the mountain (loose gravel/snow lots of curves pretty steep downslope) I was struggling to control speed without just keeping constant pressure on my brakes.
I tried a combination of engine braking and regular brakes but had to stop eventually due to a hot smell coming from my engine (I assume brakes or clutch) but after about fifteen minutes it didn't smell too bad so I continued on my way.
What would you do to control speed in a situation like this? Do you think it was my clutch? My brakes? Something else?
I've been looking to replace my 86 Volvo 240 with something less costly to maintain that. Mostly Been looking at 95-05 rangers with a few tacomas (96-03) and s10/sonomas in the mix too. I thought I definitely wanted 4wd but I'm reconsidering that and could use some advice.
I live in the PNW so there is tons of hiking, skiing etc available but I don't do much of that but I do wanna go camping a ton this summer maybe even build or buy a small camper for it down the line. I'm not trying to get into mudding or off roading. I just feel weird about spending money on a truck that doesn't have 4wd. My budget is ideally 6-8k but I can go as high as 10 for the right truck. Ideally 6 cylinder, manual
The overdrive in my 86 Volvo 240 comes disconnected quite frequently. I don't wanna get into it but it's a pain to reattach. It wouldn't be if the wires were a half inch longer.
I tried adding some wire length but the butt connectors I used are too long and bulky.
Is it okay/effective/safe to wrap the wires together and just cover them with electrical tape? Bonus question; there are two plugs in my gear shift knob to connect the wires to and I don't know if there's a positive/negative or not.
So we all know that Rodney has a reputation for blowing saves and just generally sucking it up at the absolute worst times. Yeah I know, it hasn't been all bad but hear me out. I'm well aware that there isn't a single player who's gonna get a trophy for single-handedly fucking up the season. But take a think on this.
LMC's insistence on continuing to use Rodney in high pressure situations is baffling. At least for me. What if it was entirely intentional. I've heard quite a few athletes using phrases like "just doing my job" when describing what they do during a game. What if Lloyd is in cahoots with Rodney (presumably other players as well, he's just an easy target and the one that brought

yahoo.com/news/major-league-baseball-takes-no...So I've got a lick stuck in my head (I'm sure my neighbors are super tired of hearing it already) and can't for the life of me figure out what it's from. I know it's a fairly famous cello piece.
What I've got is:
G (quarter note) F# (qn) B (qn) E (qn) D (qn) G (octave lower, qn) A (Whole note)
It might be in a different key but I'm 99% sure those are the intervals. This lick is followed by a run up at least an octave, maybe octave and a half. Somewhere in that neck of the woods. Can anybody try to decipher my notation, play this and tell me if you know it?
I'm having a hell of a time getting a good station to catch M's games. For some reason I can't get 990 AM out of Albany, nor can I get the 50,000 watt 1080 out of Portland. But I am getting a kinda fuzzy 1240 AM out of Pendleton that only broadcasts at 800 watts. How is this happening? Does anybody have a suggestion for a better station to catch M's games on?
ER doctors cut wait time and tylenol allergies with free bowl of percocet in waiting room. "Honor system" seems to be working.
gomerblog.com/2014/01/percocet/An ad just came up on youtube for what to do if you encounter a prescription opioid overdose. Apparently it happened 14,091 times last year or something. Now did that ad come up because I had this sub open in the next tab or because I was listening to Morphine?
Side note, if you haven't listened to morphine do yourself a huge fucking favor and check it out.
Today has already been quite the roller coaster ride. I woke up at 8 am sick as a dog. I had taken a half mg of orange flavored defeat (aka suboxone for those who aren't familiar) 24 hours ago. But I didn't care, I have a half gram of fine tar in the mail with my name on it and it was scheduled to arrive between noon and one pm today. Once again my friendly mail carrier was the only person I cared to see today. After an agonizing 4 hour wait until noon, I was sitting on the front porch acting casual as I waited for that lovely little white truck to drive down my street. 1230 rolls around the mail isn't here. I decide to stretch my legs and hopefully relieve my RLS a little bit. Of course as
