Weed honey

I was high and thinking random thoughts as we all do when I thought of something noteworthy. Assume I have a field of solid weed growing outdoors, and in the middle of this large, perfectly square field I situate a bee hive for harvest.

My question is, will the bees collect pollen from my marijuana flowers? And if so, and assuming I could somehow ensure all the bees only brought back nectar from the weed, would the honey get someone high?

Thank you for your expertise.

Do it and let us know! At the very least it would taste weed-y.

Honey comes from nectar not pollen. Plus any incidental thc wouldn't get you high unless heated properly. BUT you could infuse thc into honey.

Kindve linked to this, I tried and was semi successful infusing thc into honey. Its a lot of faff n when I can be bothered Il refine the process. The thc should attach to the fatty/sugar molecules. Just got some weed, wrapped in cheesecloth, put the cheesecloth in honey jar and slowly, lowly cooked in the oven for about two hours, stirred after one. It worked a bit but I think the cheesecloth I got was too fine, need to try again with cheesecloth with more holes. The strength of a tablespoon felt like half a joint. Give it a try, beautiful on toast ✌ 🍯

I was more interested in turning nature into a machine than eating weed honey, unfortunately.
