Samuel, the Drunk.

Feedback Received!
Hey, hello, hi.
I'm Samuel the drunk.
I'll drink any beer;
Warm, cold, fresh, or skunked.
Heart on my sleeve,
You better believe,
I drink 'til I'm honest,
And sink 'til I'm sunk.

My mother, the saint,
Left when I was three.
Met her some years later,
Beneath an oak tree,
That loomed on the corner,
Of Beech, Main, and Bennett.
Her lovely flower dress,
And her headstone of granite.

Good morning! Good night!
I care not what time!
Round! 'Nother round!
This one's on my dime!
Put your wallet away, friend!
Have another on me.
Your payment's your presence.
I just need your company...

The midnight is passing.
Hey, thanks for tonight.
Maybe I'll see you tomorrow?
Probably not. That's alright!
Time for some shut-eye.
Time to put down the cup!
I hope I dream sweetly!
And never wake up.
