This is a sub for Korean popular music, and since I've been on Reddit there's been a community here interested in all forms of Korean popular music - be it idol music, ballads, hip hop, EDM, whatever. I post on r/khiphop too but not everyone who might enjoy this kind of material subs there. Mods have confirmed in the past the sub is open to all genres, and Keith Ape's stuff has blown up in popularity here before. I don't see why it's a problem honestly, it saddens me that this is always brought up when hip hop is posted here. There is absolutely no harm in increasing the diversity of content on this sub.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind. I'm subbed to both subs and actually enjoy Keith Ape in specific.

I think this started belonging in r/kpop as soon as it g ma came out but I'm also not very conservative about what belongs in what sub.

Keith Ape is your classic dumb trap hype music. Not using dumb as a negative here, it's not for everyone, but I love it. Similar to Waka Flocka
