Hi,

I'm flying with my girlfriend from Incheon to Osaka with Jeju air. We have booked the tickets successfully but nowhere does it ask for our passport information which seems odd to me considering it's an international flight. Are we free to just show up on the day with our passports? Unsure if its different for me as I am British, not Korean?

Hi,

I'm using the desktop site on mobile. I've noticed a lot of pop ups getting blocked that lead to some sketchy ads when changing between posts and subreddits while browsing. Anyone else? Thought it might be some kind of malware but only seems to happen on reddit.

Hi,

My girlfriend's brother will be serving in the Korean army over Christmas and we wanted to send him a little care package of stuff from the UK to cheer him up. Are there any rules on sending foreign parcels to those serving and any special restrictions on what they can contain?

I would ask him but it's supposed to be a surprise. Any help you can provide would be appreciated!

Now we've had them for a day or so anyone have any positive or negative thoughts on their design, which one is best, etc.?

I think most people will agree they are better than Black Cat County. I know a lot of people were unconvinced by the teaser trailer that these circuits would be any different, is anyone pleasantly surprised or affirmed in their beliefs?

I've been using the short town circuit to test out a few tunes on cars, it's easy to put in lots of laps with each adjustment and notice changes in low speed cornering and stability especially.

Link to the video here. You can see excerpts from San E's Rap Circus at the 0:21, 0:54 and 1:03 marks.

Whilst it obviously can't be said with certainty this was done without permission, I highly doubt San E or his label would allow his IP to be used on such a politically charged video in the first place, and indeed I can find no mention of his inclusion from him on social media. It would also be quite a bizarre move to allow footage of you rapping in your own music video to be used in another rapper's video. Quite funny c

I ask because I read this sub a lot because I feel like I can relate to a lot of the problems and happy moments here, but only so much. I get the impression most of you guys are at least studying in the US from the terminology used(?) honestly I only understand about 70% of what's actually being said in any given post here. One thing I did notice that from my perspective seems to vary massively between my own mechanical engineering course in the UK and comparable courses in the US is the intensity of study.

I read this sub and I'm sometimes genuinely in awe how hard it sounds like some of you are seemingly expected to work. I don't want to come across as arrogant but I'm sitting comfortably

The comic which hit the front page earlier got me thinking about westernisation in the far East. I think it's safe to say most people aren't satisfied with the westernisation mechanic in general; it's very game-y and unsatisfying and [especially in East Asia] forces you to make unrealistic decisions [rapid colonisation in Mexico as an example] to remain competitive.

It's also plain unrealistic. As an example, from a historical standpoint the technological gap between China and the West largely accumulated from Ming/Qing policymaking, yet you have no domestic policy options at your disposal to circumvent/overcome the tech gap should you wish to run your country differently.

My proposition

Hi everyone,

I am currently invested in John Keay's China A History, in which he claims that in 649 Tang China sent a punitive Sino-Tibetan force across the Himalayas and into Bengal as repayment for the hostile reception Chinese Buddhist emissary Xuanzang received during the chaos of the collapse of the Pushyabhuti dynasty of India. To quote the text word for word:

It was thus a joint Sino-Tibetan force that in 649, probably by way of the Chumbi pass between Sikkim and Nepal, crossed the Great Himalaya and inflicted a heavy defeat on Harsha's successors ... The Sino-Tibetan incursion probably affected only a corner of Bengal and had no known repercussions. Though a Chinese assault
