Don't you use escape pods to get away from spaceships?
Other than that, this looks sick. Especially the color adjusted version you linked.

Yeah :P Going to have a pod still in the ship on the other side. Thought this would be the best way to get up to it. I'm saying there's a teleporter so you can get back up to make repairs or something.

i'd suggest you either hammer the teleporter flat or paint it deep black. that way it isn't as obvious it is there

Nice :) Love the fire on the surrounding trees, looks really thematic. Out of curiosity, did you ever consider painting the pod? Was just wondering if it would look better or not painted. Also, you could paint the surrounding trees black in some spots to make it look like they're charred :P
Oooo... I like the charred idea. I'll try out some different paints on the blocks.
Edit: Cyan looks looks nice on the blocks, with gray on the walls. I'll go with that for the color theme, as I'm having the cyborg live in it. As a bonus, martian furniture goes with it now too.

how did you get the fire?! (Sorry still somewhat new to the game)
After you enter hardmode creatures in the underworld have a chance to drop living fire blocks, which you can morph into various types at the crystal ball.
I used regular living fire and frost fire in this little build.
