So much self hate. I hope he doesn't marry this "one woman" he's managed to convince himself he's attracted to. She deserves a husband who, you know, likes to have sex with women. I'd like to hope that things will work out for this guy, but I know that he's on a long course to suicide. How sad.

The saddest part is that the author seems to understand that he may never "get over" his homosexuality. Right there, on the cusp of realizing that homosexuality is normal and healthy, he got "saved" by discovering how sinful and terrible he is.

It's just awful. Gives me flash backs to the turmoil of my own "salvation."

....and definitely not because people are born with same sex attraction. The author even says he knew he was gay as a child. Does a child really reject "gods loving rule and authority"?
