I wish we'd figured it out sooner!

mom hack/pro-tip

My youngest had horrible stomach flus/ gastros from 6 months to 1 year old. I think part of it was being in 2 daycares and her sister being in another one so she was exposed to three sets of kids. We were constantly cleaning up SOME bodily outpouring off of ourselves and the floor. About 6 months later when we had dealt with a few more bouts of puke, I walked into her bedroom to my husband squeegeeing it up into a dustpan with a shower squeegee. Our lives changes for the better that day so I wanted to pass on the tip. It makes the clean up SO much easier.

They're also good for "raking" hair off carpet. Pet hair & human hair. Thought I'd add to it. I'd wish I'd known about the vomit, when my lo was having bad reflux

I heard of throwing kid in inflatable pool when they're sick to contain mess. I thought it was brilliant if you have a kid that would stay in it.

puke is puke, right? only differences are amount and content!

You can also get them with an extended handle in a set with a 'puke'pan like it were a mini-kitchen broom+dustpan set. I have acquired this knowledge by working on a whale watching boat. Tourists, it's not like the 'ROUGH SEAS' signs are just up for the heck of it -.-'

What is a shower squeegee? Where would I get one?

It's a small squeegee for getting the water off the shower walls. You can probably pick one up at a dollar store but I know they're everywhere from IKEA to Winners to The Bay/ Department Stores.
