My yard is slowly being taken over by butterbur and its starting to claim the neighbour's yard as well. What is the most effective way of removing it? Preferaby in an eco-friendly way. We've tried digging it over the years and have definitely slowed its roll but I want it gone! Zone 6A.

I'm sorry to subject you all to my search but I'm trying to find a specific quote/ episode by Emily.

It's a Friday Night Dinner and dinner is ready early. Emily says something to the effect of "it's fine, we can eat at 6, we'll all be in bed by 9!"

My youngest had horrible stomach flus/ gastros from 6 months to 1 year old. I think part of it was being in 2 daycares and her sister being in another one so she was exposed to three sets of kids. We were constantly cleaning up SOME bodily outpouring off of ourselves and the floor. About 6 months later when we had dealt with a few more bouts of puke, I walked into her bedroom to my husband squeegeeing it up into a dustpan with a shower squeegee. Our lives changes for the better that day so I wanted to pass on the tip. It makes the clean up SO much easier.

I am looking for a town in Lithuania named "Ollenburg". It is where my grandmother was born but we can not find it on any maps of Lithuania. We thought perhaps it went through a name change during/ after WW2 or maybe it actually was in Poland or Russia but her birth certificate says Lithuania. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I'm heading to New York next week and have been thinking about what to do with my nails. I thought that the nail stickers would be best since the chance of chipping is minimal and I won't have time for touch ups while I'm there.

Do any of you have some advice/ suggestions for which brand is the best? I've only used the Sally Hansen ones which I loved but I wanted to check out what other options are out there.

Failing that, I'm up for random design suggestions, too!

I'm curious if gossip is as prevalent as it seems to be. Do you gossip about friends? About family? What's the difference between "gossiping" about someone and "talking" about someone? Has it ever helped or hurt you? Do you see it as primarily a guy or girl thing?

We bought our first house two years ago and in front is a beautiful lilac bush. The only problem was last year it didn't have as many blooms on it as I thought it would. I read that I should follow the 1/3 rule and remove some of the bigger branches but the blooms are already starting to grow. Have I missed my chance to get a fuller lilac?

I remember seeing this movie in the late 80s or early 90s. There was a group of animated animals that go on an adventure through the forest to either get something back or find someone. I specifically remember a scene with an older man (live action) giving a sugar cube to an animated bee....anyone?
