Is it normal...

Is it normal to be traumatised by ICE? Yes, ice. I've broke 2 different bones because of ice. Now I'm scared to walk on it, and I fear it. I'd like to get rid of the trauma but I can't. Any advice?

Edit: sorry if this is the wrong subreddit, couldn't find any other subreddit.

It's not. I cut the end of my finger off with a mandolin slicer. Now I won't even touch the thing.

Must've hurt.

Sorry that happened to you. Maybe work on your balance. If you're a little more confident about where your feet are planted it can help you be more sure footed on the dreaded ice. Good luck!
