I tried Chipotle for the first time the other day. Man that place is overrated. I mean it's good, but Jesus, people flip their shit over it. It's just mediocre burrito version of subway.

The fact that it doesn't taste exceptionally good. It doesn't taste bad, it's just nothing to write home about. It's just personal taste.

If it's personal taste than how can something qualify as overrated? Since in the eyes of people like me, who think it's great, it's aptly rated.

Their guac is trash too.

Except the people who overrate the shit out of Chipotle more than likely live in a place where they can get a cheaper, authentic mexican burrito elsewhere.
I live in the South and it's overrated as all fucking hell here still. Cafe Rio is fucking better than them if you want a chain burrito.

I'm from Mississippi. So no. We also don't have chipotle but I've lived all over.

I mean, you pick what goes in it. If it's not good, you just suck at picking a good combination of ingredients. Everyone I've ever encountered who said they weren't impressed by Chipotle went in there like "I'LL HAVE CHICKEN, LETTUCE.... YEAH THAT'S GOOD!" then complain when it doesn't blow their mind.

Like, if their steak burrito with guac isn't good, then....it isn't good. Simple as fucking that. Cafe Rio's steak burrito is infinitely better.

I think it used to be better before it got big. I remember the first time I tried it years ago, I couldn't get enough. Now it's eh.

I haven't had Chipotle ever since they recently blew up.
I'm going to keep it that way.

I noticed when they went anti-GMO their meat started to taste worse.
Their steak used to be great, but now it's bland and a lot more fatty.
