Natural Doubt
The trees' sheltering hands
Seem distant in time
As you travel to faraway lands,
Searching for some sign.
The winds' gentle touch
Now blows harshly against
Your weathered soul – such
Sorrow and torment without sense.
The Sun's welcoming warmth
Dissipates away,
And what once was a loving hearth
Is now Shadow's stay.
Yet Nature's warmth, touch, and shelter
Will always reach toward you, closer and closer.
