Succor

    Mother my consolation
can you live for a thousand years
so that I may rest my head
in that hallowed heart,
and find the happiness I've so longed
to share

save me 
from the devils that plague my House
and this madness that
lurks ever closer to the surface

But if the Fates decides its time
I fear I will follow not too long
for the crowds are loud
and the land's untilled

there is nothing.
Nothing
in this brief hole of a town
that could save me 
from 

	my

		own

			damn 

				mind.
