Contract negotiation gone wrong

It was my second season as fulham and we just won promotion to premier league. My finances were fine, but suddenly all my players were wanting new contracts. I had my mind in scouting and preparing the team for the big jump, so I told my chairman to negotiate new contracts for me.

Big mistake!

My 22 year old prospect went from 50k euro per month to 450 k per month, my wage budget jumped in two month from 1.8 million per month to 4.3 million per month, without me even buying new players. Worst of all: I now have 14 key players and 8 first team players. Well, seems I need a new squad (or a new save)...

Rookie mistake my man, Chairman, and DOF are good for getting good prices on players, but they massively fuck up contracts.

I have such wildly differing experiences with DOF/chairman handling negotiations. Sometimes they get a player on 50% of the salary they wanted from me with not % fee and sometimes they sign em for double the wages with a ridiculously low min fee release clause.
