Table that has different inputs for a specific day?
I'm trying to have a template/table that will have new inputs each time i use it. Is there a way to have a "Date" drop down menu that will change the entire table to that specific day? This will allow me to track progress over time.
Does this make sense?

What do you mean about the new inputs and the entire table changing? You're going to have a thousand different tables for a thousand different days? If so, we can do that, but I don't think that's a good idea... Or even if it's just one table for Mondays and one for Tuesdays, etc., we can to that too, just let me know if that's what you need.
But if it's just one table and you need to add a new record (row) each day, that's much easier. Although Excel isn't good about "live" updates to filters. It needs VBA or refreshing to really work. Like you can have data and filter by date but you have to apply the filter manually. It gets easier with slicers and the timeline feature is good but that might be overkill since we need a pivot table for that.
Yeah, I get that a diff. table for each day would be a little hard to deal with in the long run :/
What I mean is, I essentially have a template and there are 2 columns with 16 rows that will be different for each day I use it. (It's a workout routine that I will do 3-4 times a week). I don't necessarily want to reformat the template to be a running day-to-day table, which is why I thought it'd be nice to have an entirely different table for a given date.
I can elaborate more if you'd like. I appreciate the help and if you need, I can send you the excel file or a pdf to help you visualize it.
You could have a dropdown with the dates / or weekdays (ie. Monday, Tuesday etc.), a table below it that would basically use the cell with the dropdown to pull information from another sheet.
I think it's best if you paste a file here, and let us work on it.
EDIT.
Here's my solution:

The 'Save Workout' button will create a copy of the template (as a separate sheet), and to quickly review archived sheets, use Pull_Data_Form there's a dropdown that will automatically expand (macro adds new sheets to the list), and once you select a date, the form will populate.
Okay, thanks. here's the file:

So which exercises do you want to do on which days ?
