The revenue that the NFL, NBA, and MLB generate is incredible, and is in many cases directly funded with public tax money. The stadiums, arenas, and fields are built with tax money (majority of the time), and that is ridiculous in my humble opinion. Because when you think about how much revenue and profit these organizations generate, and that they do it on the backs of taxpayer money, it just seems unfair. If tax money is what builds a professional sports team’s arena, part of that team’s revenue should go directly back to the communities, by funding education, local social programs, etc.

Just listening through the Wise Man’s Fear for the 3rd time and this scene really irritated me. Kvothe was acting like a complete jackass — he is lucky Devi didn’t kill him! I understand that he was wounded from falling off the roof, tired, irritable, etc. from the malfeasance and he thought his Lute was stolen; but like, wow, he was such a pompous idiot during that scene. Devi was super nice to him, might’ve even had a crush on him and his bravado totally ruined that relationship…. I’m hoping he doesn’t do that to any of his other friends in book 3.
I was irrationally irritated by this part of the book lol. Anyone else?
Hey everyone,
I jammed with a guy recently that had this super fancy expression pedal. From what I remember, the color was greenish and it had green lights underneath it, kinda like neon lights under a car. Anyone know what this pedal might be?
Howdy everyone, I am looking to buy my first Toyota (Prius) and am more than likely going to purchase it new. With Memorial Day approaching, I am curious if you have any advice for me regarding special deals?
Also, if you have any advice about buying a new 2017 Prius feel free to share. Thanks, looking forward to joining the club!
Thoughts on this new study that indicates saturated fats do not clog arteries?
bjsm.bmj.com/content/early/2017/03/31/bjsport...So I have been connecting my loop pedal (Ditto X4) into my portastudio (Via MIDI) and syncing the metronome so that my loops are in perfect time. I'm wondering if there is a way to connect my looper to a MIDI metronome that can put out a click?
Hopefully that makes sense... My drummer struggles with staying on time with a loop and I think a click would make it a lot easier. Need the click to match my loops though.
I appreciate any suggestions. Keep rockin'!
I have scanned all of my receipts from a recent business trip and I am now trying to figure out the best way to insert them all into a sheet. Ideally I have been imagining that they will all be hyperlinked or something but I'm not really sure what the best way to do this is. I don't really want to have each image in a separate sheet, ideally they would all be in one sheet.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: Is there a way to insert an image into a specific cell and have it enlarge when you click on it?
This is for a cash outflow running table. I've been inputting all of my outflows into a table. The data from this table gets pulled into another table where the money is separated into various categories such as food, entertainment, bills, etc.
So in the 2nd table, the x-axis is the Months (Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, etc.) and the y-axis contains the cash outflow categories. Since January is almost over, I am beginning to create all new formulas for the month of February that will pull the data from the cash outflow running table...
EDIT: I ended up solving this, with some advice from you guys and a little more research thanks to google. My final formulas llok like this: =SUMIFS(Table1[Amount
I opened a Vanguard Roth IRA a couple weeks ago. I put in the maximum for 2015. My account currently says that all of the $5,500 is in "Short-term reserves". What do I do now?
Edit: Thanks Everyone!! A lot of great advice, I appreciate it.
I'm trying to have a template/table that will have new inputs each time i use it. Is there a way to have a "Date" drop down menu that will change the entire table to that specific day? This will allow me to track progress over time.
Does this make sense?
So I started a cash flow spreadsheet and I've been logging all of my spending habits while creating a couple of graphs/charts. One pie chart represents my cash outflows in different categories, such as groceries, bills, auto expenses, restaurants, etc. When I go to input a new expense, say, into cell D145, all of my SUMIF formulas are still referencing up to cells D144...
To elaborate, here's what the formulas look like:
=SUMIF(F10:F144,"Bar/Restaurant",C10:C144)
=SUMIF(F10:F144,"Entertainment",C10:C144)
=SUMIF(F10:F144,"Groceries",C10:C144)
Is there a way to update all of these similar formulas at one time? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I currently have a Visa through Wells Fargo. Honestly, I don't even know what percentage rewards I get. My limit is $2,400; I think it's a college card. I graduated this past May, so I'm not a student anymore.
I'm not really educated on credit card lingo and everything seems very confusing. I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction or maybe even possibly recommend a website or YouTube channel that provides good info. Thanks.
