The first roller that is available in the game. While its use in the early metagame was immediately overshadowed by the Krak-on Roller, this roller has its niche, being able to control multiple areas with its range and splatting distance, along with its interesting kit. It has suction bombs which are valuable for zoning areas and getting people off of that god damn tower. It has Killer Wails that push people out of places they really shouldn't fuckin' be. Despite having the same main weapon as the Krak-on Roller, the playstyle of this weapon is vastly different. Personally, I don't believe I've logged enough hours to consider myself a master (or even a Veteran) of this weapon, but here are the main things I've noticed for playing style:
-
You don't need to be extremely stealthy and behind the scenes.
-
You need to be always in motion.
-
You can afford to be be outranged by your enemy for a short amount of time.
-
You should not spend most of your time pushing; however, you can afford to be pushing for a short amount of time.
-
You can deny map control very well; however, your ability to take back map control is outclassed by the Krak-On.
A very solid and balanced kit for a very solid and balanced weapon.
