Where Are You?
I wish we could be next to each other,
Especially at night,
When everything is quiet and it’s dark.
When the only sounds are the house, or the train, or the neighbor’s dog,
When my mind goes wherever it will,
And when I want someone here next to me to experience it;
To experience nothing really,
Nothing but the soft sounds,
Nothing but each other.
That’s when I want to be next to you the most.
