love is a rose (an overused but true analogy)

love is a rose (an overused but true analogy)

this is more of a journal than a poem

what do i think of love?

scoffs i don't think anyone can say something good about love before experiencing it until you find it for yourself, it's just something other people

have that you don't

not to use an overused analogy

but love really is like a rose

(ill try to put a custom spin on this analogy)

it's like a rose growing in your neighbor's yard

you want it but you're not quite sure if you want to risk taking it

there's so many things that can happen

your neighbor could catch you

the rose could poke you with its thorns

however if you overcome these risks and manage to take a rose

you'll have the thing of beauty that you've been wanting

i guess my problem

is hoping the wall

i also can't help but wonder

do i want the rose to care and tend for it and watch it grow

or do i just want it because it's beautiful and pleasing to the eye

well i guess there's only one way to find out the answer to my inquiry i have to hop the wall

maybe tomorrow

wish me luck
