What are you up to?
I'm a little low on funds, so I'm trying to find ways to entertain myself this month outside of food, beer, TV, and books (really my favorite things).

Have you tried dance?
I have gotten into swing dancing within the last few years, and I love it. It's a good way to meet people and is usually inexpensive.

Wish I had a bud like you haha. Someone that could get out of my comfort zone and dancing ia definitely one of thos.

Right now I am listening to music while waiting for a TV show to load up so I can watch that.
That is about it for now. I could go into other things as well, but I don't think that those count as casual.

Hey, you're in the same boat as me. I live in a city, so a lot of free/ low-cost entertainment comes from just exploring the place. I like books too... so I go check out the different libraries.... Also, buying coffee is pretty cheap if you don't make it a daily habit, so I sometimes go check out different coffee shops. I spend a few hours in them writing things and soaking in the vibes if I like it enough.

I love libraries. And coffee. I'm a grad student at a small school next to a bigger one. I love going to the bigger one and just soaking in their vibe. Maybe I can feed off or absorb the effort of the more driven students hahnaa.

I think drawing or painting or making art however you like is a nice way to pass the time. You don't have to be good at it, just sketch and have fun with it. It can be a weird mix of challenging and relaxing.

What kind of hobbies do you have? Maybe there are some things you can do that don't cost anything.
I'm just trying to waste time at work.
Usually home body stuff like games and books, haha. I was actually looking up some stuff and it turns out there's this e-sports venue close by. They do fun weekly stuff with smash bros and street fighter, so I may pop on over.
That sounds fun. You could meet a lot of different people that way and kick their asses.
Or get my ass beat, lol. I tried playing smash melee against my nephew, game is no joke.
