Thank you! I tried to make it as simple as I could so it would be easy to build your own story around it (even if it's based on one of my most coplex life events). So relieving to hear it works!

It's so simple, but I really like it! The way it shifts perspectives is cool. It feels like we're just catching a glimpse of a conversation at a night club or something, and because of this I think the short length works, although it would be cool to hear/read more.

Thank you for good feedback! I really could (and should!) make this poem longer for there is a big big story behind this one.

I really enjoyed the rhythm and repetition. It makes it a really easy read. The only criticism I have is, could it be longer? I like the narrative and would like to see the voice explored more.

Do you wanna dance?
You asked
Do you wanna dance?
You wanted me

Do you wanna burn?
She asked
Do you wanna burn?
And burn me too

Why would I burn?
I asked
Why would she burn?
So I said yes
