Counterpoint: What was the BEST Standard environment you ever played during?

As a quick counterpoint to this post about the worst Standard environments we can remember, I'm curious what the sub thinks the BEST Standard environment was in the history of the game? Or more specifically, which Standard environment was your favorite to play during, be it because of power balance, mechanic design, fun decks, you name it.

I personally have very fond memories of Odyssey-era Magic. [[Wild Mongrel]] into [[Arrogant Wurm]], [[Psychatog]] synergy with [[Upheaval]], [[Cunning Wish]] for game 1 sideboard access, trying like hell to make [[Mortal Combat]] a thing. Really fun time to have gotten into the game, at any rate.
