Lets play "Lie or False!" My favourite Reddit game!

I thought I'd take a break from politics, Berniebros, Shillary and Dump, and play a little game on Reddit where I see if Redditors are lying, or not telling the truth! It's a fun game. I have a good track record, If I do say so myself.

I'm picking rotten fruit here by delving into Advice Animals, but this one was too stinky and gross to not pick it up and devour it. The original poster posts this meme. For one this hits a lot of Reddits favourite, or rather favourite jerking subjects. Evil women/moms, public interactions, young girls, and social awkwardness. Also I highly doubt this is true, either this whole situation didn't happen, which is my bet, or he was looking and the Mom did say this, or just took her daughter away from the creepy man staring at her. But hey, it makes a good Maymay.

First top comment!

A woman did this to me when I was at one of those bogus "Buy an Alpine car stereo for $5" events at a closed down mall-turned convention center. She comes up to me and loudly shouts "She's my daughter and she's only 17 you pervert!" I had literally just turned 15...and I looked about 12-13 (Didn't have shaveable facial hair until I was 20)....and I wasn't ogling her daughter who was wearing skin tight jeans and a halter-top, but most everyone else in the place was. Her daughter just smiled at me. It was such a shock it took me like 10 minutes before I was even pissed off about it.

Basically a regurgitation of the same story. Evil Mom yells at me for staring at her young daughter! I like this comment

and I wasn't ogling her daughter who was wearing skin tight jeans and a halter-top, but most everyone else in the place was.

I wasn't ogling her but can remember exactly what she was wearing years later, and anyway everyone else was so whats the big deal!!!!!

Also, "Her daughter just smiled at me! I was totally in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smile = secks"

Again, I doubt this story is true in so many ways. 2 for 2.

Heres a kwality reply to this comment

I had a moment like that at a carnival when I was 17. I was with some friends and we met a few girls who joined us for some rides. I got caught kissing one of the chicks by a rather porcine woman who stomps over, apparently her mother, who barks out "she's only 16 you sick fuck." The girl was embarrassed and the mom was enraged by my response; "Perfect. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" I think she was going to assault me but by then my friends and the other girls had already come around us.

Well I'm just 100% sure this happened too. "she's only 16 you sick fuck." is what a lot of mature adults yell at teenagers kissing. Also, why can't these moms stop trying to protect their children and just let me do what I want. 3, I think thats 3.

I was in an elevator at a hotel one day, with a woman and her young daughter (around 7 or 9 years old). The woman yelled at me for no apparent reason. If you think of touching my daughter, I will fucking kill you! I have no idea what this was all about. I was standing there, minding my own business, and I was wearing a dress shirt and slacks.

Yeah sureeeeeeee. "DAE men cant go out in public without being accused of being a pedo!!?!?!?!?!?!" Has anyone ever had a this happen in real life? I have NEVER heard anyone I have ever been friends with or talked to tell me story like this about anyone or anyone they know. In for 4. I'm very good at this game.

Taking a diversion from the game for this HILARIOUS joke

"Yeah, well, she doesn't act 17 in bed."

Ha! Sex with under-age teenagers is funny. Also enter the age of consent jerk.

Once complimented a friends cousin for having a great smile. She had recently gotten braces, and was clearly a bit self-conscious about them, so thought it'd be nice if she heard something positive about it. Got a barrage of messages/emails later on "She's only 15. You can't talk to her like that!", etc., etc. Last time I ever acknowledged an underage girl in any way. And now I see I can't even ignore them without people thinking I'm a pig, like OP. lol, the world.

yeah, ha, LOL the world. Why can't we look at hot young girls, such a crazy crazy world.

This next comment tree is just amazing.

Ri-i-i-i-i-ght. Sure you don't OP.

To which our truth teller OP replies

Hey man, don't look at me. I was busy getting hit on by MILFs.

To which he links to another one of his VERY TRUE Meme, which tells us the OP is 42 (so from the original meme, we could have a 42 y/o middle aged man ogling a 17 y/o. DECENT! Or we couldn't). I think I'm on 4 or 5. I would go into that thread but I really don't want to.

Anyway, you should try Lie or False next time you're in the defaults. It makes it a lot more bearable when you realise most people are talking complete and utter bollocks.

Now there are lots of jerks in there, it is after all Advice Animals. But I don't feel like getting angry in my front room at a computer screen. But if someone else wants to I'll join in.

The funny thing about this reddit meme/myth of moms going apeshit on guys to defend their daughters' honor is that if anything, it tends to be dads who are unhealthily fixated on "protecting" their daughters from sex, like in "purity balls" and similar baffling bourgedneck bullshit.

Beyisgr8•

And AA backs that play; time and time again they upvote comments and threads about dads "keeping their daughter off the pole" and other shit like that.

I've seen plenty of "DAE NEVER WANT TO HAVE DAUGHTERS CUZ THEY'LL HAVE SEX AND THAT'S BAD?" -jerks. So glad my dad sees me as a human being.

Beyisgr8•

Right? My Dad was far from perfect, but I feel like I have to retroactively congratulate him on not wanting to be gatekeeper to my vagina and giving enough of a crap to actually talk to me about sex without making it some weird "patriarch/pristine virginity" thing.

It's bizarre how unpopular abstinence education is on reddit but so much of its tenats are.

Cykuta•

It's simple, really.

Requiring abstinence from males is bad, because males want their sexual satisfaction whenever they feel like it, but requiring abstinence from females is good, because it keeps them from having any influence on their bodies. Women should just stand by the wall and wait for a man to come over and use them as he likes. That's the perfect world everyone should work towards, so fathers who train their daughters to never take sexual decisions themselves and give up control of their sex lives to a man are working towards that goal and great heroes.

bourgedneck

I am so stealing this word.

Reddit doesn't have a problem with that though.

"DAE men cant go out in public without being accused of being a pedo!!?!?!?!?!?!"

This has to be one of the strangest jerks on reddit. Unless you are acting all sorts of creepy in public (like mr "leering at a child and deeply offended that someone noticed") nobody is ever going to notice you, much less make a gigantic fuss.

21
RayBoogsOP•

Yup I have a 2 young nieces and 1 young nephew all under 4. Never ever ever ever, have I had anyone even remotely even begin to look at me like I'm a pedo. In fact its the opposite.

A rational persons mind thinks "Oh thats his/her dad". But obviously all this makes sense and doesn't let them feel like a white english speaking middle class male is the most persecuted race ever to have lived.

Cykuta•

You know how everything is obvious when you know the answer? Like puzzles or whatever?

This is what's happening here. A normal person could have ten different associations, starting with "obviously that's the kids' dad" through "prolly and uncle/big brother/mother's boyfriend" and ending with "my eyes are only gliding over you and not even seeing because I'm late for my bus and yelling at my boss in my head." But to a guy who is actually creepily trying to see whether the girl has big breasts already and imagining her sucking his dick, it's obvious that's what everyone else thinks.

Not to mention that even if someone is actually being a legitimate creep or pervert, literally no good comes out of calling them out. Best case scenario, they're embarrassed into looking away for five seconds. More commonly, though, nothing happens and for the most part, everyone else in the vicinity clams up and looks away because nothing's worse than having to be made aware of the sixteen year old girl being groped on the subway.

I don't really care that people lie on the internet, but it's incredibly scary to think that a lot of these people probably believe their own (and others') lies.

18
RayBoogsOP•

Yeah thats kind of my point, in a round about way. It does astound me that people will inexplicable lie in such a exaggerated way, but that can be explained by either wanting to be popular or just wanting karma.

But like you say, the fact people upvote this shit, all of those comments were highly upvoted some over 2000+ net votes. Do they really believe it? I can't believe that they believe it! (Theres a butter joke in there somewhere).

I'm always under the impression that over 90% of the stories Redpill posts are lies.

RayBoogsOP•

I think you're being generous even with that figure.

CougarForLife•

sure, some men commit horrific acts against underage girls... but being accused of looking at underage girls is the real crime!! happens to me all the time!! and I'm a normal looking male just wearing a dress shirt and slacks- an outfit that makes it impossible to be creepy! women amirite??

In terms of accuracy and credibility: Dank memes > regular Reddit posts > Peer reviewed journals

Don't you know how this works?
