I'm having a real hard time deciding what phone to get next. I'm coming from an HTC M8, which has been great, but it's old and the screen has gone.

I'm looking for a sim free phone. Big points for me are good performance, battery life and a good camera. I don't game too much or at all really, but I tend to take a lot of photos. Hence why I've ended up with these 2.

I think I'm leaning towards the Z5 because of its camera, expandable storage and it's waterproof too which is a bonus, but I've heard such great things about the Nexus and it gets great reviews, and Sony phones don't usually come with a great rep.

Also if theres any others I should consider let me know (I've looked at the One

I thought I'd take a break from politics, Berniebros, Shillary and Dump, and play a little game on Reddit where I see if Redditors are lying, or not telling the truth! It's a fun game. I have a good track record, If I do say so myself.

I'm picking rotten fruit here by delving into Advice Animals, but this one was too stinky and gross to not pick it up and devour it. The original poster posts this meme. For one this hits a lot of Reddits favourite, or rather favourite jerking subjects. Evil women/moms, public interactions, young girls, and social awkwardness. Also I highly doubt this is

"The BBC News website has started including screenshots of tweets as a measure of public reactions to things." Is the title.

This person is annoyed that a public news service is using Twitter (A public social media outlet) to gauge the interest of the population.

Now we all know Twitter isn't ideal, and it does have some rather interesting characters - but I would have thought the Journalists would know how to tell a "troll" user to an ordinary one, and use the tweets appropriately. Using Twitter is also an extremely good way to get opinions and insight into what everyday people on th

Hi!

I'm in the US (Denver) over the winter period visiting some friends! I've been to a lot of places in the rockies and plan to do some more, but I am really interested in Yellowstone.

I was just wondering if anyone has been/is going to yellowstone in the winter and had any advice on what to do and where to stay?

I'll probably be driving up from Denver and spend maybe 2-3 days there. I'd like to do some snowshoeing, wildlife watching and just take in the scenery. Is it best to get a guide or just get advice from guides on where to go?

Also how is access this time of year? I know there has been some pretty serious snow storms already!

If anyone can help that'd be great! Thank you!

My favourite top comment on one of the threads is

Quit spilling mud on the good name of Hitler

I don't know if this sub is satire? Either way, making similarities between Adolf Hitler, a man responsible for some of the worst war crimes and genocide in history, to a women who done something to your favourite website where you can be a racist is awf

A little note before I get into this. A couple months ago I decided I didn't want to Reddit so much, I mean why would I? I went away of holiday for a month or so and haven't really Reddited since, minus a few comments here and there, before getting annoyed with the site and myself for being back. But today I decided to check the news, and for some reason clicked on r/worldnews, and seen a mess of a thread and it just filled me with rage.

So here goes, I'm going to moan. Heres the thread http://www.np.reddit.com/r/worldnews/comments/2hvqh9/extremists_will_have_to_get_posts_on_facebook_and/

"Extremists" will have to get posts on Facebook and Twitter approved in advance by the police u

Now I know this is overdone, but I thought it still needed submitting.

A day or so ago, someone submitted a video of Whoopi Goldberg talking about the wrongs and rights of hitting someone, more specifically women. In a nutshell what she say is "If you hit someone, don't be surprised if they hit you back, man or women".

Now I broadly agree with this, if someone is attacking me I should be able to us reasonable force to restrain them, bla bla bla. Although, what this does not mean is, if someone who is weaker than me is attacking me I am allowed to pulverise their face off and beat them wit

I wanna punch that b!tch in the throat in the first one. "Ew wtf is wrong with you, stop kissing a cup, that's really weir- OH MY GOD HE'S DRINKING IT WTF STOP!!!"

Whilst browsing through r/all on a particularily quiet day I happened across this, its a post about how a women made her husband a nice wedding ring, rather than buy him one, as she is a Jewelery maker/Bench jeweler. Its quite obvious that this is a one off custom ring, which took hours upon hours to design, which also happens to have diamonds in it. Lets see what our good friends of Reddit think, shall we?

First parent comment:

That is perhaps the most flamboyant male wedding ring that I have ever seen. Congrats.

Not too bad, but I can't shake the feeling of a back handed compliment

Why? I really don't get it. It happens with a lot of things, but this thread really touched a nerve with me. I've seen it many times in different subs, but this is ther first time there has been a thread so big.

I happen to like the modified car scene, and more specifically the "stanced" car scene. I'm fully aware that some people don't, and I'm also aware that, yes lowering your car makes it very impractical, and in some extreme cases almost undriveable.

Anyway onto the thread, we have a cracking opening comment.

That was f*cking perfect.

I'm don't usually post one link one liners, but I really don't think there is much more I can say, or need to say about this mess of a comment chain. But for completeness, I'll add the cracking comment that started it all off.

I still to this day don't understand why it's socially acceptable for a woman to slap a man in the face like that. If I did that to a woman I would be on the ground in five seconds with a knee in my back and handcuffs on.

Edit: Downvoted by femnazi's from SRS.

The edit is fucking the icing on the cake. Discuss away, or not, I just couldn't not menti

Take a look, at my last count there was 13 seperate parent comments with the "joke" Nice try NSA, or a similar variant. Its funny that so many people are falling overthemselves to make the same hilarious joke. Its not funny or clever and it adds zero to the thread. Also one parent comment is pretty heavily upvoted, so this means people have clicked the thread and commented straight away, JUST to make the joke.

It wasn't funny the first time and it isn't now. I don't really know why it bothers me so much - it just does alright!

Also there is some good jerkin going on in the thread.

Sure you were.

Me too. I was placed in a gifted program starting in 4th grade. It took until I was 23 to finally shrug off the last of its effects.

"Gifted" kids aren't the future, seriously. Have you SEEN the kids they're calling "gifted"? They're borderline bonkers. Half have ADHD or some kind of social problem. There were kids that were bouncing off the walls, having tantrums, yelling...but they could recite hist

I want to say that depression is bad and I am in no way making fun of it.

But what is it with Reddit and claiming to be depressed and lonely? And feeling the need to tell everyone about it, and subsequently jerk each other off about it?

We have this post in the glorious subreddit Advice Animals.

Give it a look. Now I'm obviously no expert, but from my experience, people who are depressed don't make a song and dance abut how they are depressed. It may be that this person is depressed and just wants to vent. But surely there are better ways right?

Anyway lets look at the comments

oday in r/funny we had the hilarious? submission entitled Sad but true

Basically, someone has brilliantly captioned a conversation between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Basically its says that people should stop worshipping Steve Jobs and bloody well worship Bill Gates!

For starters, this isn't even funny - its clearly a post meant to antagonise the anti-steve jobs jerk - and by god, it works!!!

Lets take a look at the top comment:

Steve is a nobody to me, he died of cancer and Ashton kutcher made a sh!tty movie I won't ever see.

Bill will be a legend the world over for generations, for reasons completely unre
