Right, it's a major seventh with sharp 11th which then moves in parallel with the melody for the first couple bars, and something similar for bars 5 and 6.

For the chord subs I'm hearing chords made up of 4ths moving chromaticaly.  Can you give us a reference for the chord subs you are doing on the head?
