Gravity vector does not change for stations converted to ships

DISCUSSION

I captured a pirate base, chopped most of it up and put the parts in its cargo container, slapped thrusters on what was left, cut it from its supports, and started moving it to its new home. Except after I was far enough away from its original spot, it started accelerating forward, as if I had pitched forward. Technically, I had done so - I was flying quarter-way around the planet and needed to pitch to keep the floor level with the ground. Except that wasn't the direction gravity was affecting the ship - that vector remained pointed to where it was pointing before the base was cut loose. My engineer still fell the right way if I left the cockpit, but that wasn't how the former pirate base flew. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

I had something similar.. Locking/unlocking of a second ship often normalises it, might aswell try it :)

I have the same problem, it happens when there are landing gears or connectors locked, the gravity vector does not update. Unlock all the landng gears and connectors to have it working properly. My gravity arrow in the hud points always in the right direction, though.

If you need to move long distances, travel a little, unlock-relock (just bind the switchlock of the landing gear in the hotbar and doubletap it, it's enough) and travel a little more and so on.

NOTE: you must disconnect ALL connected things for the gravity to work again, so if you have two ships connected you have to unlock the first, unlock the second and then relock both, unlocking and relocking the first, then unlocking and relocking the second will NOT work.

So... if I simply left the one ship off it would have been fine...

...I may have broken down a large craft for no good reason (outside of the massive amount of goods).
