They seem to be having issues handling Big Picture mode, and I can't make the Steam Controller work at all in this game.

They have a "workaround" for BP (turning off the in-game overlay) but it looks like that cripples SC input.

Hopefully they fix this soon; playing this with the SC was the only reason to re-buy this game - I have the original disk - so lack of support means a refund request.

For instance, when you just create a project in Android Studio, you get something akin to this:

A maintainability disaster of tremendous proportions

This is before one even types a line of code. And, as far as I know, I have to wade through ALL of this before I can even start creating even a personal, my-phone-only app.

This meta-data tree practically mandates that I have 1) a team of maintainers specifically to deal with all of this or 2) some miracle utility that handles this automatically.

Is there such a utility? Is there some tool that will automatically fill the overly-redundant files with the proper data, or does it have to be all done by hand

I was thinking about learning how to make SE models/blocks (I have this idea of a four-wide Small cockpit I can't get out of my head) and I was wondering how it could be done with open-source programs. I have seen that Blender is instrumental, but collision boxes used to be done with a program that's no longer available. Can someone point me to helpful resources?

This is what I've seen so far: Space Engineers Mod Toolkit for Blender By NimrodX

I captured a pirate base, chopped most of it up and put the parts in its cargo container, slapped thrusters on what was left, cut it from its supports, and started moving it to its new home. Except after I was far enough away from its original spot, it started accelerating forward, as if I had pitched forward. Technically, I had done so - I was flying quarter-way around the planet and needed to pitch to keep the floor level with the ground. Except that wasn't the direction gravity was affecting the ship - that vector remained pointed to where it was pointing before the base was cut loose. My engineer still fell the right way if I left the cockpit, but that wasn't how the former pirate base f

I am trying to implement a top-down car game in Godot using this tutorial as a basis, but Godot handles physics a little bit differently than Box2D, which the tutorial uses (Godot doesn't have native torque handling, for instance - though you can derive it) and I'm having some issues actually implementing a tire (it turns okay, but moving it makes it behave weird - it either rocks in place, or zooms off at an odd angle); I was wondering if anyone else had tried making a top-down car app or had any pointers dealing with the physics engine...

Let's say I have a ship with a jump drive and landing gear, and I happen to come across another capital ship. Can I just "land" on it, punch the drive (if it's charged), and vamoose with both the ships?

That would make for some... interesting tactics.

^(I could have sworn I parked it around here somewhere...)

I just had a vision of a promotional T-shirt with a head shot of our favorite hybrid-American in the middle of the words "Addicted/to Horse" or "Hooked/on Horse". Might be a bit out there, but the fans would understand. Thoughts/jeers?
