[Build Ready] Looking to upgrade my ~6yr old gaming PC into something more current.
###Build Help/Ready:
Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)
Yes
What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.
- Gaming (more details below). Occasionally while streaming.
- Heavy Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign use. Usually all 3 at the same time, Images > 9000x12000px in Photoshop.
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, FPS, game settings)
- 1080p, 60fps on higher quality settings, though willing to sacrifice some quality for stable fps.
What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?
I can drop an additional ~800-1k CAD on top of the parts that I currently own. I'm flexible on the budget and would prefer to be somewhat future proofed, but I'm looking for a good cost/performance ratio.
In what country are you purchasing your parts?
Canada

Provide any additional details you wish below.
I'm experiencing an issue with my current build after recently upgrading my video card from a GTX 460 to the 970 listed above where the PC will sometimes just lose power and restart while playing some more graphically intense games. Seems to be a lot of reasons why that could be occurring with the PSU being suggested a lot as potentially failing. If that ends up being the case I'll need to purchase another Gold PSU.
I'm fairly inexperienced when it comes to picking parts and tried to do my best based on suggestions from the Logical Increments link in the sidebar but I'm definitely willing to be flexible on suggestions for replacements. Mostly I'm just looking for a bit of reassurance before I drop a lot of money on parts that might not be optimal for my situation.
Thanks in advance for any advice offered!

If you're doing all that, don't you need a better cpu?
