Blue sky meltdown

The sky is falling
but not like you'd think it would.

Massive blue then purple then orange and red globs fall and disappear over the horizon like raindrops on a window
trailing iridescent oil
into an out of sight blaze
that must be huge because I can see it glow from here.

As I watch warm translucent syrup air drip from space
in delicious flammable jelly drops
stars appear on the higher end of the bowl I must be looking down on
being tilted
emptying my gasoline ice cream napalm sundae sky
into the sunset fire.
