Where Did The Butterflies Go
Where did the butterflies go,
The ones that we did watch grow
As they flew across the waters top,
Playing
gently Falling
slowly Drop
One caught the other as it fell,
But now that playful flying does not dwell.
That missing feeling,
that empty air
Where they played without much care.
I found them,
injured, on the shore.
I nurtured it to try and soar
Like it did days ago,
When never feeling loveless smother
Never one,
Without the other
The butterfly fights to find its mate
Cause as one, an awful lonely weight.
He hears her wings of distant shutter
his heart
it bounces
it yearns
it beats with flutter.
Once Again they are together,
their flight,
once alone now always tether
where did the butterflies go
out beyond the waters edge
Now watch them dance with a distant glow
Just a quick one i wrote whilst in the mood. Nothing special Critique 1 Critique 2
