Would people be interested in a lord face-off debate series?

EDIT: Alright, first thread will go up at 4:00 EST tomorrow. I'll need two volunteers to be my co-judges (preferably people who won't participate too heavily in the actual threads and who're on the Discord server), but we don't need to sort that out until the end of Round 1, really.

Here's the bracket, which, despite being randomly-generated, seems to have some cruel twists thrown into it.

This is meant to be sort of an interest-gauging post to throw ideas at the wall and see if anything sticks. (inb4 "Lack of Interest" jokes)

A while ago I threw together a hastily-written tier list for the Fire Emblem lords based mostly on my own experience and opinion. The responses I got intrigued me because people were eager to adamantly defend or condemn certain lords based on their own experience (for example, some people said I rated Leif too highly while others thought I was too hard on him).

I thought it would be fun to do a little tournament centred around determining the "best lord". Now, in the past the sub's had formal debate threads (including one specifically for Best Lord), but I was thinking of something more casual, even along the lines of a trash-talk thing. Obviously someone like Ike wouldn't normally lose to someone like Roy, so instead of basing threads on listing each lord's good points, they could be about tearing down the lord they're facing.

Please note, I say "trash-talk" specifically in reference to the lords themselves, not the users debating. We would be shitting on the characters, not each other, and civility between users would be important.

Bonus points could be given for especially unfair or groundless arguments (e.g. "Ike's voice actor makes him sound dumb whereas Roy's text blips are very pleasant to listen to"), and to further help the weaker lords out the "winner" of each round could be determined by a panel of judges evaluating the quality of the inter-lord trash talk, rather than a popular vote.

We'd also have to determine who qualifies as a lord and who doesn't for the purposes of assembling a decent bracket (Marth, Alm, Sigurd, Seliph, Leif, Roy, Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, Eirika, Ephraim, Ike and Chrom being the "givens" to make up 13 of probably 16 total), which I guess could be done in this thread.

Would anyone be interested in this at all? Is this a terrible idea?
