Rose Petals.

A rose is beautiful, simply because it exists,

 

And.

 

A rose without its petals, is still a rose.

merely,

its petals were stolen,

a token,

to its own beauty.

 

Yet.

 

Someone with a broken heart can still live,

 

merely pieces of their heart were taken,

to loathe,

to resent forever,

against those who plucked at it.

 

So.

 

A rose is beautiful, simply because it exists.

 

And you are beautiful, for the very same reason.
