Looking for people interested in statistics and probability related to NRL.

I've been working on some spread sheet material looking for probabilities, stats to create a useful model for r/NRL members and filthy grubs that steal it to use more commercially.

Using various probability models and with some experimentation I want to attempt to simplify the odds and make it easier to predict some games, making a more informed decision.

If anything, I'll be able to explain how the bookies get their odds and be able to look at valuable bets (which can be rare) whilst plotting variables. With the data as well, should be able to delve into looking at what specific outcomes (player stats, weather, injuries etc) changes certain games.

Just want to stress that this is purely experimental, very early stages, I haven't even begun looking at similar NRL related stuff so it'd be cool if anyone has some good links to some. If you think I'm on the wrong track, let me know.

Would be good to hear from people who have/are:

• Good betting knowledge/experience
• Background in stats and probability
• Fantasy football participants (Not reg)
• r/NRL members for general feedback

If there's enough interest to warrant setting up a group of some sort i've already set some plans in motion.

End goal is to improve current models as well as learning along the way and maybe participate in fantasy next year. Cheers boiz and girls.
