I, Hatred & Depression

I’m in an ocean of emotion

The waves are thrashing with comotion

I’m drowning with eternal devotion

In that I hope there’s no demotion

So much change, so much motion…

Locomotion like a train

Thoughts chugging through my brain

I’m deranged, inhumane because of

Too much mental strain

I begin to question if i’m sane

I try to abstain, constrain, contain

Lock it up with a ball and chain

The pain and disdain

But it’s impossible to sustain

My attempts are in vain to stop the rain...
