Dissection

Fill my throat and mouth with daisies
Praying to a God I don't know won't change me
Chasing down gods praying that fate won't derange me
Give me agreeable words. I don't want to be crazy
Start to amputate, just leave the bones
I have an okay foundation and some bluish undertones
I have accepted damnation like the wet grass under my toes
I've got some thin damaged skin but the scars feel like home
Blind my cherry eyes. Steal my ability to cry
I want to be a daydreamer. I want to run from my demise
I want to be an underachiever. I want to dream about the sunrise
Got to clean up my freckled mind but I'm too afraid to try
Drain my skull and fill it with gold
I want a wasted mind and a beautiful soul
I want a beautiful mind. I want to sell my soul
Say I've lost my mind but I chose to let it go
