Things I think of when I can't sleep

I tore my skin

with blunt nails,

and sand poured out.

I haven’t slept in days,

I’ve slept for weeks.

Gods and devils look alike to me,

I can’t tell if I was the hero or monster

of this story.

Your face is a blur in my mind,

but I would recognize it anywhere.

I took your hand,

but I fell anyway.
