I am a rose
I am a rose.
Hardy, sturdy,
Tapped firmly in earth.
Bright, vibrant,
Florets bursting with sun.
Yet you pluck me,
Cast me away.
Brand me as noxious;
Under what right?
See my teeth,
Hear me roar!
I reject your labels.
I am a rose by another name.
And I am beautiful.
Edit: Originally, I was going to title this "Taraxacum". It appears the "hints" weren't sufficient, so it might've made what's going on a bit clearer.
