IAMA Tony Stark, billionaire, philanthropist, Avenger - AMA

"Is it true that you went 12 for 12 with last years Maxim cover models?
15
Yes and No. March and I had a scheduling conflict, but luckily the Christmas cover was twins.
10
Why don't the other Avengers have ironman suit!?
4
"because they're not ironman"
*disables replies

*sigh*
14
What did it say?
2
Something about a giant black lion outside in the Wakandan Jungle
4
Fancasts. "If they were to make a bio-pic of the Avengers.. who would you cast?"
72
Simon Williams as Stark.
54
Nah, have you seen KissKiss bang bang? That RDJ guy is a dead ringer for Stark.
17
RDJ as Tony Stark would totally suck. If they cast him the movie will totally bomb.
I think Tom Cruise is perfect for the role.
29
Please, that druggie? He's a total has-been!
5†
I get you're joking but that's a mean thing to call rdj

"That guy who was Mace Windu should definitely play Nick Fury"
13
the rock is the only one big enough to play hulk
11
Leaked nudes of Scarlet Witch.
69
FAKE nudes
I doubt she would have/lose them
25
I don't know. Someone might have a Vision for it...
29
Relevant flair.

Flair + comment = gold
12
I think r/Earth199999/ is a good place if you want to experience these things.
65
I really liked the conspiracy post that Steve Rogers of today is just a Hydra puppet and that the real Steve died in WW2.
20
Obviously, there will be lots of rants on Reddit about how the empowered people are destroying property and must pay for that destruction. Registration/imprisonment.
64
I don't really get that. If my town was attacked, and my house got destroyed, I'd be pissed at the attackers, not the guys who came in to stop them.
16
While this is true, the lawyers that would be in immediate contact with you would be putting together compelling arguments to how the important thing here is to 'make you whole again.' And you should probably get compensation for your suffering. So they are going to go ahead and spread a wide net on this to make sure they are representing your interests...
12
And that is a bad thing for people to come in with settlement offers, when they're not the ones who started it? In New York, it was Alien invaders. Those freaky bastards sure aren't going to help my family rebuild, so I'll accept help from the guys who stood up against the green blooded freaks.
8
If the attackers just subdued you and then taxed you (not killing you), then the defenders coming in and slamming the attackers into buildings destroying those buildings woudl not have happened.
1
You're assuming that they were just wanting to subjugate us. Look at New York, the Chitauri started firing right out of the gate. That Ultron thing right away decided that the only thing it could do to help the earth was to eradicate humanity. That's why the tin bastard tried making Sokovia fly so he could recreate the asteroid that wiped out the Dinosaurs. Sometimes people just want to watch the world burn.
1
Build a wall and make Iron Man pay for it.
Edit: wall not war
13
How does one build a war?
1
There is no building it. There is only the war.
5
Usually with a strong foundation of propaganda.
3
But powers don't kill people. People kill people.

Also, Reddit exists in the MCU. Daisy uses it in Season 1 when she simulates her Web activity at the Hub.
57
Man, I never knew about that subreddit, but it seems like so much fun.

I'm guessing he means a picture of Quake using Reddit.
1
She didn't use it, she just mentioned it. And it's on Netflix, the episode "The Hub".
But I still went through the effort of doing this, you guys better appreciate it.
14
I don't get it.

"myself"
"I wish I was wearing him" *[gets gold]

r/conspiracy would be on the front page every day.
r/movies would be filled with threads analyzing how well DC movies cover and allude to current events.
r/science would be off the chart with how advanced technology in their world is.
r/singularity and r/transhumanism would be trending subreddits.
r/alienthreatwatch and/or r/enhanced would be a thing.
I'd imagine that r/odinism or r/thor would be relevant.
r/hydra as well.
29
People bitching about the elections.
26
if Stark or Osborn are elected, I'm moving to Canada
22
I would vote Osborn over these two

r/askreddit: "Which Avenger seems like a really nice guy?" Followed by contrary and unverifiable reports for, and against the Avenger in question.
r/religion/Christianity/etc.: "Thor claims to be a god. Why do you think he isn't?" Checkmate: Odinists.
r/pics: Guess who I ran into at the schwarma place around the corner?
18
"Got to work with some of the Avengers once. Oh my god, Captain America is amazing. Just as charming and humble as he seems on TV. I got all tongue-tied talking to him. Met Scarlet Witch too, she's great. Stark's a dick though."
(40 downvotes for obviously fake claim of working with the Avengers for karma)
3
Any time Stark does an AMA, half the responses end up in iamverysmart.

The broken arms + mother thread would still be the juggernaut it is today.

broken arms + Aunt May

Marisa To-May really would help the healing process.

r/spideysightings?? I dunno seems as good as anything :)
12
With how clumsy Peter seems to be in-universe, I can easily see something like this happening:
(Thread Title) - "[Confession] I think that Spider... guy is my neighbor."
"Hi reddit, so... Remember that web-swinging masked vigilante from Youtube? I was coming home from a party last night and saw him going into the building where I live through the window just next to my room. What do you guys think? Should I try to find out more about it?"
11
I would think it would be full of us trying to figure out secret identities...
Who is that guy that shrinks really small? Well it can't be Bill Gates because he was teaching a class when Cross Technologies went under attack.
10
There aren't even that many secret identities in the MCU to figure out.
7
Maybe hero creepshot, or [relative] died in [some event] and this is picutre of them.
7
Reddit does exist in the MCU, Daisy Johnson mentioned being a reddit troll.
