This is really clever; I'm sure your class loved it.  Thanks for sharing it!  Have you ever considered writing a children's book?  In truth, I think the market for children's poetry is probably bigger then the market for adult poetry.

This is adorable! My only comment is I wonder if your kids would get the words without the first letter. Reading this aloud could be a little difficult with just the first letter at the end of each line.

**I Will Not Say That Word**

I will not say that word.  
I'd rather say mold, or blood, or curd,  
It's the most disgusting word I've heard.  
No, I will not even mention a t___.  

That other word? I will not whoop.   
I'd rather say mud, or dung, or goop.   
No, to that level I will not stoop.  
Flush your john, I’ll not say p____.  

Here’s another word I’ll say not.  
I’ll say mush or mucus or rot.   
It’s not a word my mouth has got.   
Keep it in your nose, I don’t want your sn____.  

That word? Not a bit.   
I’ll say pimple, or dimple, or pit.  
Into my mouth it will not fit.   
I won’t say it, I won’t say z___.  

This word? I’d rather cuss.   
I’ll say sludge or fludge or bus.   
I won’t say it - I’ll put up a fuss!  
There’s no word I dislike more than p____.
