Could there be a new weapon from Breath of the Wild?

DISCUSSION

I'll admit I'm a little behind the loop (had to go out for a few hours today), but from what I saw of the trailer and a few of the Treehouse segments, could the Shiekah Tablet be used as a new weapon for Link? Specifically, a dark-themed weapon using the various runes and abilities they've exhibited thus far like Stasis or the telekinesis form? Or do you think there's another character that could get this (I only used Link because it seems like it would be the ideal 'dark' themed weapon that could round out his arsenal)?

I dont know about a weapon, but I really freakin' want a BOTW outfit for Link for HW.

How so? I don't really think Shiek needs to get too many weapons when they could instead be going to Zelda herself.

We don't know how advanced hyrule warriors timeline is. This is one of the first Zelda games to feature advanced technology.

Zelda already has two weapons; her sword and bow, and the wind waker. Since Zelda and Sheik are the same person, it makes sense for Zelda's other half to have a second weapon as well.

Zelda has three, you're forgetting the Dominion Rod.

I don't really see why. I think that when it comes to giving characters multiple weapons, they're trying to focus on characters that have appeared in multiple games. Shiek was only in Ocarina of Time, compared to Impa that's been around since Zelda II (Yes I know there was concept art for Shiek to be in Twilight Princess, but that didn't happen so it doesn't really count). In fact the only outlier to this that I can see is Lana, and I think that can get chalked up to being the Warriors-exclusive mascot character...

That old guy in that cloak should be a new warrior. He seems important to the story, so why not shrug
