Troubleshoot your router settings; firmware upgrade, etc. get on that by googling (same if you're using a wifi/router combo)

For my home wi-fi, I bought a netgear r7000 router a while ago on a whim, though it seems the asus rt-ac68 or whatever in the same price range and comparable performance might edge it out in wifi range.

edit: if its connection / bandwith hogging using p2p torrenting or heavy streaming/downloading get them to cut it out, also enable QoS for your computer / mac address in the router settings

Couldn't find an issue with my router. Every other game works fine online but overwatch. Nothing hogging bandwidth either.

who would've thought that connecting a lan cable directly to your modem solves a connection issue.... even better than wifi would.

seriously, even if this is a TI or fiber connection, I'd rather connect it directly by lan than wirelessly.

I had a wired connection to my wifi router and this issue was happening. It went away when i unhooked my router and plugged into my modem directly. Thanks for the sarcasm though.
