 Houses at night  

 Sightless and shrouded  

 Agents provocateur  

 Awkward and ancient  

   

 Conspiratorial   

 Ferial vespers  

 Yards like a Eucharist  

 Christmastide card  

   

 Cabals of evergreen  

 Screaming like Stonewall  

 Victims of “justice”  

 Loveless damned schism  

   

 Oh, and these cottages  

 Watch as the afterglow  

 Star-silhouetted   

 Distressed from afar

   

 Mumble displeasure

 Leisurely grumble  

 Chirr in the cold wind  

 Boatswains of firs   

   

 Awkwardly ancient   

 Agents provocateur   

 Sightless and shrouded   

 House the rough night
