"Memes are facts now?"

"They are even presidential candidates now"

I died.

Saturday_SoldierI don't believe in objective morality. Morality isn't an object•

They are... evolving. Beginning as mere images with text, memes have become more sophisticated and ubiquitous. They are sponsored by corporations, tweeted by presidential candidates, shared by news outlets. For now they are a presidential candidate, but soon nuclear launch codes will be in the form of memes. When r/SubredditSimulator accomplishes its purpose of creating sentient artificial shitposters, the memes will take over the world entirely. Being too enthralled by cat pictures to even notice the takeover, humanity will do nothing but stare at their monitor and say, Ayyy.

Edit: Posting factual links is now "hate speech". Reddit never fails to disappoint me in the default subs.

It's not exactly a stunning argument for God and those memes are barely dank. 3/10, points for JPG artifacting, must try harder in future.

Crazy how an industrialised country can have a black market for tampons. What's happened to Venezuela is so sad.

4
Rodrommel•

Well... I wouldn't call Venezuela industrialized. There was some industry, like any part of the world. But those are largely idling since government policy makes it nearly impossible to produce anything domestically

AtomicKoala•

Well thanks to the government's attempts to destroy capitalism there I suppose you're right to an extent, the country is deindustrialising. Sad. You don't expect things to go backwards.

Has Reddit finally circle jerked back to up voting atheists again? That seems like ages ago when that was the norm.

Naw, but it was always the righteous “angry atheists” who got hit the hardest and the linked (now deleted) comment was the righteously angry religious person equivalent.

I'm an "angry atheist". Feel free to downvote me for old time's sake :)

Edit: Feel better now?
