Orion's dev has a history of stealing assets, Activision's DMCA is probably legit.

No shit lol. Don't know much about them but what really rubbed me the wrong way was in their plea on Facebook they linked the side profile of the guns and they looks reasonably different but the first person view down the sights they neglected to link were literally identical to call of duty....
Siding with Activision 100% on this.

lol I wanted to buy that game yesterday, bullet dodged.
This is the post that needs up votes instead of the otherone.
Damn my friend did that T-Rex :o
I made a comment in that thread that I'll link about some of the helmets in the game and how it's not clear whether or not they are being sold for a profit.
Good Guy OP not using absolutes.

Hey what did Volition do wrong? Descent: Freespace is my favorite games of all time.
Just because they have a history doesn't mean you get to assume it's the same case this time. That's a completely unfair and quite bullshit assumption.
never thought i would see activision and legit in same sentence
This honestly disappointed me. I was so excited to buy my first pitchfork, I can't believe Activision was in the right.
Well you can still buy a pitchfork...
Not necessarily towards Activision...
