The ability to heart an upgrade is nice, it communicates you want that upgrade. However, we only have the single button leaving some significant gaps in what we are trying to communicate. Do I prefer that upgrade or is that upgrade the missing piece that brings my whole build together?

In addition, I often see people hesitate on the purple upgrades. Sometimes one upgrade is clearly the good one, but maybe it isn't right for my build. I may not want that purple armor upgrade because I already have a great stone-skin engine.

Two more buttons could make a lot of difference. Limit the player to one option per upgrade and only one heart.

One of the mods here said you might be interested in a Salmon run guide a put together, so here is an updated version with what you need to know to be successful.

Splatoon 2 is new and the new mode is Salmon run. Things are still pretty fresh, but I immediately noticed some major differences between successful and unsuccessful teams and some points of failure that cost the team their game.

If you don't know the names of the Salmonids and are getting confused, the wiki page should clear it up.

This problem has gotten worse with Cho'gall and I've seen a few jerks intentionally random because someone wouldn't pick Cho'Gall with them. If you leave a hero who has already been picked selected or you leave Cho/Gall selected without a partner you should be kicked and punished the same as if you left the selection blank.

You should not be allowed to random in hero league, especially since it is a true random and doesn't take your team composition into account like the QM random.

Why are we not kicking these players and flagging them as AFKs/Leavers?

  1. Pre-pick your hero. When you pre-select your hero, your teammates can see which hero you intend to play. This is very important. It helps your team organize their composition. Most teams are looking for a balanced build. If you wait until the last moment people are guessing what you will pick and your team composition will suffer. Someone who is bad at warriors may go warrior because they did not know you intended to play Arthas.

  2. Composition is important. A well built team will have more success than a randomly cobbled together team. Having 1 Warrior, 2 sources of damage, and 1 support is a good framework for any team. The 1 Warrior, 3 assassin, 1 support build is a rather go

This article itself is not directly a part of gamergate, however it is a very good read and can perhaps provide some insight on the behavior of some of the groups related to gamergate.

Back when City of Heroes was still a very popular MMO, a professor decided to run his own little mini sociological experiment. Essentially, what happens when someone refuses to obey a group's unwritten social rules? The reaction he gets will seem strikingly similar to what is occurring is both factions of GG and anti-GG.

We have a lot of new Wii U owners. Many of you have heard about Club Nintendo. If you haven't, sign up when the site has recovered. You gain coins for every Nintendo purchase you make. These can be redeemed to prizes, most often people opt for virtual console games. Your Wii U has a Wii inside it. So you can redeem Wii VC titles and play them if you have a Wiimote and a classic controller (for SNES titles.) when these titles become available to Wii U VC you can upgrade for $0.50-$1.00 depending on the title. These VC titles rotate monthly.

A much lesser known promotion is the Nintendo Digital Deluxe Promotion. Any purchase y

tl;dr This excel sheet has useful info, make sure to download it mediafire's preview doesn't interpret formulas correctly.

A recent article by forgewatch provided drop rate information about Solforge. Unfortunately, they took this data at face value.

I decided to translate the drop mechanics into the actual probabilities of events occurring. I then used this to get some basic data. What is the probability of getting X card in a pack, what is the average amount of legendaries each pack gets you. How much does each legendary cost you?

Apparently a new policy change has gone into effect as of 6/13. Gamestop will only be receiving digital download codes for 3DS games unless you specifically pre-order a physical copy. I'm not sure how this will work for games that don't have an eShop copy. Those interested in physical copies may need to start purchasing games from other locations.

I played Ruse and felt that it was a solid RTS hamstrung by Ubisofts horrific mismanagement. I didn't play Wargame: EE because I didn't know it existed until I heard about this game. This game looks like an interesting evolution of Ruse. Unfortunately, there is very little coverage on the game. Thus, I have some questions about the game.

First question, is the matchmaking split by Steam region like it was in Ruse? That ended up making it impossible to get a game in Ruse and killed the game incredibly quickly. Do I just get matched up globally by default? For those of you who played Wargame:EE how long did it take to get a match six months after the game got released?

I noticed the p
