I passed my 1/2 way mark!

-

I am beyond excited! I passed my 1/2 way mark (which was 170lbs). I am 168.6 which is 26.4 lbs down since May 28th! I have been doing CICO and I have been super diligent about tracking everything in MFP. I found my comfortable range of daily calories to be around 1250-1400 depending on my activity level that day. More recently I have been tracking my macro nutrients a bit more diligently and I think that is helping too. As for workouts, I have been hitting the gym about 6 days a week and doing a mixture of strength and cardio training. I have been doing the Oxygen Challenge and I am following Christmas Abbott's program which is based in crossfit and high intensity workouts along with 30 - 45 minutes of cardio (however much time I have left with my kids in the gym daycare basically). I am so excited and I finally feel confident again. I mean, I know I have lots of work to do still and 168.6 on my 5'4 inch frame is still not ideal, but it is progress. I am getting stronger and faster and I can feel myself improving! I know I am being the best example for my 3 sons, and that makes me proud! I just wanted to tell everyone that despite your struggles, your bad days, your down falls - you can get back up and you can do it. Make the time, and the results will follow! <3

Congrats - halfway is a good feeling. I'm 2/3 of the way and every 5 lbs is making a big difference now. Keep up the good work!

Don't downplay your success. You worked hard for it! What's the Oxygen Challenge?

They started it last year and had 2 superstars in fitness put together a 90 day challenge that is complete with a meal plan and fitness plan for every day. It builds on top of itself and gets harder and harder! You can find the info on the oxygen magazine's website! And, thank you. I appreciate your kind words, it has been hard work!
