Today is a big day for me and I just want to share it with you guys! It's the middle of the night here, and I am working an overnight shift, but today marks 6 months, or 26 weeks on this weight loss journey. I started this at 195 lbs and today I am 138.8. I have gone from a size 16 to a size 6/7. I was a miserable shell of a human. I was so unhappy. Today I am down a total of 56.2 lbs, I have surpassed my original goal by 6.2 lbs - which is super exciting! But maybe more importantly than the weight loss is the victory I have in knowing that I have genuinely made better habits, that I feel 100% better, that I know that I can say no, that I now am able to have 1 glass of wine instead of the wh

Hey fitmama's!

I was invited over from r/loseit! I am the mother of 3 beautiful boys, aged 2.5 and 1 and 1. I had 3 kiddos in 18 months and it did a number on my body, and on MAY 28TH2016 I committed to myself to lose weight and be more healthy for my kids. I Started my journey at 195 and today I hit my original goal weight of 145, which is 50lbs and equates to 69 inches lost! I'd like to keep on going to my new goal of 130 lbs, so 15 more lbs to go! I am hoping you gals can help me out! Looking forward to joining you all on your journey!

Well there you have it, I hit my goal weight! In just shy of 21 weeks I have lost 50lbs! I started this journey to simply lose weight and be healthier for my kids after having 3 sons in 18 months, but I have gained so much more from it that I ever could have imagined. I am not quite where I'd like to be yet, but I am feeling very accomplished about how far I have come. I feel good in my own skin, I feel more confident, I feel stronger, I feel healthier, I feel like a better mom, I sleep better, and the list goes on and on.

I feel like I have found a new passion in nutrition and fitness, and I am more motivated than I have been in a long time.

I am a little bit over a year from having twi

hey team, sorry I have been a bit absent with posting, but I just wanted to check in and say hey! I have been doing pretty well this challenge, and I am excited to say that yesterday I broke through my 3 week plateau with a 2 lbs woosh and again today with another 1.2 lbs! This puts me at over 35 lbs lost and over 50 inches since May 28th! I had to go buy new clothes this week as I am returning to work here soon from maternity leave and just started a night program for holistic nutrition and I found myself having to buy pants in a size 29! I don't think I have bought pants without a 3 in front since high school! I just wanted to say that we can all do this and when it gets tough know that it

I have been a bit nervous to share this in such a public way, but here goes nothing!

This is my progress so far! I have lots of work left to do, but i am proud of how far I have come in 10 weeks.

I have been following pretty strict CICO and working out 4-6 days a week with a combination of cardio and weights. I had also been following the OC2 90 day challenge, but had an injury and I haven't gotten back on track with the challenge since.

I am 10 months postpartum from having twins and had a singleton 18 months prior to that, so I think my body is doing well for all I have put it through in the past 3 years!

Please feel free to

I know that I should maybe post my pictures in r/progresspics, but I wanted to share with my awesome team the changes! This is my facial progression from 195 down to 162. I still have more to lose, but I am getting there, and I am proud of how far I have come! FACIAL PROGRESS

Ok, i am at a complete loss. I don't even know what to do anymore. My identical boy twins are nearly 10 months old and the struggle so much to go to sleep. I am not a big fan of CIO, but we have had to do it with them - we are going on 3 months and they can still quite easily cry for 2 hours on a bad night. I have yet to get more than a 4- 5 hour stretch of sleep out of either one of them, and that is if I am lucky. They are often waking every 3 hours or less still. Often times they absolutely will not go back to sleep without a bottle at night, but recently they have taken to not going back to sleep at all. They sleep in the same room and they nap without any issues at all as in I put them

Can I just say, that for the first time in many years my belly is smaller than my boobs! I took my measurements this morning and it is happening folks! This is proof that if you stick to it you will see results! 28 lbs down and my boobs have arrived!

I am beyond excited! I passed my 1/2 way mark (which was 170lbs). I am 168.6 which is 26.4 lbs down since May 28th! I have been doing CICO and I have been super diligent about tracking everything in MFP. I found my comfortable range of daily calories to be around 1250-1400 depending on my activity level that day. More recently I have been tracking my macro nutrients a bit more diligently and I think that is helping too. As for workouts, I have been hitting the gym about 6 days a week and doing a mixture of strength and cardio training. I have been doing the Oxygen Challenge and I am following Christmas Abbott's program which is based in crossfit and high intensity workouts along with 30 - 45

I made some poor but delicious decisions last Friday and I have been paying for it ever since, but last night 2 lbs magically disappeared off my body! Thus far I have beat my challenge goal of losing 10 lbs by 3.8 lbs! Happy Wednesday, I had to share with people who'd get it!

I used to play quite competitive soccer, so running isn't new to me, but now that I am in my early 30's several injuries, and 3 kids later I am finding my way back to the pavement. I used to run, but with no intention or direction and now I want to focus my energy on getting faster and increasing my distance. I ran my first 5km this past weekend, and now I am addicted! I'd like to run 10 by October. i am registering for an official race for October 15th. So, wise runners of reddit. How do i get from a to b? What training programs to you recommend to get better, fast and stronger? What weight training programs do you recommend for increasing muscle mass? What articles and websites do you foll

Yesterday I successfully complete my first 5km road race. This was a huge goal of mine and a very big NSV! My time was 35.24, which isn't great, but I have always been a treadmill runner, so for a first outdoors run I am pretty happy. Also, I surpassed my challenge goal of losing 10lbs! I am down 10.8 today!

I have been stuck at 185.8 - 186 for like a week or so and I have been so so good, but today - today I hit 185, which is my 10lbs mark! I know it's a small goal, but seriously, i am beyond thrilled! It was my goal for this challenge, and having started off in such a funk, i didn't think i'd make it, but yay!!! <3
