Promote, pitch, or present your GitHub projects.
New GitPitch service released that may be of interest to GitHub developers moonlighting as reditters.
GitPitch is a service that turns PITCHME.md markdown into online, interactive slideshows. It is designed to help GitHub developers promote, pitch or present their GitHub projects.
The idea is simple. If you ever need to present your project ideas to colleagues, clients or customers or at a meetup or conference then GitPitch is for you. Just add PITCHME.md. Further details and samples are available on the GitPitch website and Wiki.
In a nutshell. No more Keynote. No more PowerPoint. Just Markdown. Then git-commit.

where is the source code for gitpitch ? and can you put it somewhere else than root dir ? (like maybe in .github would be nice, so as not to clutter root dir)
This
If by source code you mean the PITCHME.md markdown, then your only option is to place the file in the root directory for your repo, alongside your README.md.
No I meant the code you use to get from md to slideshow.
GitPitch is a hosted service and the code that converts your md to a slideshow is part of that service, it's not publicly available. There is nothing for you to download or install. Just add PITCHME.md to your GitHub repo. GitPitch automatically handles the conversion from md to slideshow.
Yeah I get how it works. But it's not because it's a service that you cannot liberate the code! ;)
