Campaign Against Living Miserably adverts

So, I did a search before posting, and didn't find anything, so apologies if this is a repost.

There's a charity in the UK called the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) dedicated to preventing male suicide, who run a brilliant ad campaign, that I wanted to share with you all. (official link) :

This is funny because i saw a big billboard for CALM just a couple days ago on the train, was genuinely quite shocked to see something addressing male suicide in public. It's nice to see some real progress being made in that sense - not to mention that it's a great stepping stone for the legitimacy of men's issues in the public arena.

We actually fundraised for CALM as an action alert. You can find the post here. Here is the direct donation link, which is still open!

We didn't quite hit our goal of raising £560, which covers the cost of running the website for a week. It would be awesome if this post inspired more donations! The money raised each week is automatically sent to CALM at the end of the week, so what we've already donated has gotten to them, but if more is donated this week they will receive that by the end of this week!

According to CALM, suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 45 in the UK. This is a very important issue that we can help address. They're doing a great job offering support for men who are struggling.

There's a drop down menu on the site, listing various issues men might want to talk about, and it's a very good list. From a quick look, it seems like they're really interested in addressing real world situations.

I'll be taking part in a big old charity bike ride raising money for CALM in a few weeks. Had a friend kill himself a couple of months ago
